Community Living Services
Achievement House’s Supported and Independent Living Services (SLS/ILS) provide assistance to individuals who wish to live in the community independently. These services promote a safe, self-sufficient and communal lifestyle.
Activity Center Program
The Activity Center Program provides individualized services to promote education in daily living skills, safety concerns, social skills, mobility training, physical development, vocational skills, the effective use of one’s leisure time and assessing community resources.
Work Activity Program
Provides accommodated employment in house and in the community. Bring the job to us or we can pick it up. Anything from light assembly, packaging, collating, bulk mail, paper shredding and so much more!
Supported employment crews consist of a Job Coach and 3 individuals that provide services for several local business’ in a variety of professional settings. We provide quality service, while instructing and mentoring actual on-the-job vocations skills.
The Direct placement Program provides an opportunity for individuals to secure suitable employment in their community. Referrals to this program are made by the Department of Rehabilitation for individuals who are not eligible for Regional Center Services.
This program provides assistance to participants to obtain employment in their community. We assist participants with every aspect of a job search. Once hired, we provide job coaching, case management and assistance as needed.
Community Day Based Service
Provides individualized services to promote and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle, such as; pre-employment, classroom-based instruction, community speakers and music appreciation.
Social Wellness & Health Program
Intended to provide a new training model that incorporates social skills with physical, emotional and occupational wellness for individuals served in the San Luis Obispo County
Student Services Program
The purpose of Individual Placement (IP) is to prepare individuals for working with the general labor force. The Direct Placement Program provides and opportunity for Individuals to secure suitable employment in their community.
Braided Services Program
AHI’s Braided Day Service is to complement the already existing Community Based Day, Adult Day and Work Activity Programs, where adults are served with Person-Centered Services that enhance or maintain self-help techniques in activities of job development
